Make Time For Yourself With JORD

Oftentimes, when I hear people talk about self-care it’s in the sense that it is overdue. Friends explain to me that they are far too busy to be practicing self-care more regularly than they are, and while I feel for them, I can’t help but call their bluff.

The great thing about self-care is that it can fit within the time constraints of your busy life. There are so many self-care activities that you could include in your life that only take up 15 minutes of your time. Trust me, I’m busy too. I just got done with my 31 Days Of Blogging Challenge and July was BANANAS with planning, writing, editing, oh and not to mention my 9-5, spending time with family, friends, Ricky, running errands…you get the picture. During those 15 minutes, I can meditate, journal, read, apply a sheet mask, go for a solo walk or take Dexter, my pug. After those 15 minutes, I come back and I feel relieved of any stress.
